AI powered experimentation

Through continuous experimentation & real time optimization, Tozan explores your product landscape faster and in real time expands the peaks and sunsets the valleys.

Our premise

What is the best way to improve at something? By trying new things. But how do you try new things?

Companies typically try new things by A|B testing them. But A|B testing is inefficient, and it produces measurable waste, tests arbitrary versions, and results often do not lead to actions.

Tozan solves the pain points of A/B testing by enabling companies to try new things easily and produce better products and outcomes.

What happens when you run an experiment with Tozan?

1

You send a request to our API versions-assign endpoint, using our server SDK.

2

Our API responds by providing you a version ID and a publishable key.

3

Your server responds to your visitor‘s request and customises their experience.

4

Our client SDK sends events to our API when a visitor of yours had triggered the KPI you‘ve set.

Stable UX for your returning customers

Consistent experience

To ensure that your customers are treated with the same version across their experience, we identify them across requests using a visitor ID. That ID can be stored on your server which helps us do our AI magic and assign dynamic versions to your customers.

Meaningful identifier

The process enables you to use an identifier that is meaningful to your customers, such as a visitor ID, if your customer is authenticated. If you haven‘t stored a visitor ID the first time your customer has requested a version, our API will generate a visitor ID. In both cases, our API persists the version ID that it assigns to the visitor ID.

Storing IDs on your side

When assigning a version to your customers, subsequent requests should include your visitor ID because that will enable our API to retrieve the previously-assigned version IDs and will respond with the help of those version IDs, enabling you to serve correspondingly stable UX to your customers.

Storing IDs on our side

If you decide not to store the visitor ID on your side, then our API will generates the visitor ID for you. For that to work, you can use the Tozan Server SDK to store those visitor IDs in the form of a cookie set by you.
